Liyitec's Resistive Multi-touch Solution

Liyitec proudly announces the patented Resistive Multi-touch Solution (“MTD”), for which granted Microsoft Windows 7 Logo Approval for both 10.3” and 20.1” models in December 2009.

With Liyitec’s patented design, users are allowed to experience ultra light input force (10g, min.) with fast response time (max. 250 points/sec) and excellent accuracy with no ghost-points. Liyitec MTD allows users to insert 2 inputs simultaneously, including 2-points or 2-line drawing, photo rotation, and page sliding. It is excellent for personal device application (such as PCs, GPS, photo viewer, gaming… etc.) and public use applications (directory, POI, Kiosk, photo-print station… etc.).

Moreover, Liyitec offers high-value-added options helping customer to attain product differentiation, including high picture quality solution, high resolution solution, high contrast-ratio solution, low reflection and low color shift solution for both single-touch and multi-touch resistive products.

SR-Touch^TM, Liyitec’s low reflection technology, delivers ultra low reflection rate (R=1.5%, min.) and ultra high contrast ratio (4000:1, max.). With SR-TouchTM option, users are allowed to read the LCD screen clearly under strong sunlight. This option solves the readability problem of traditional touch display and allows users carry their mobile devices anywhere with no user environment restriction.

PicassoTouch^TM, the high picture quality product line, enhances the contrast ratio (CR) by 50% in comparison to standard resistive product. With PicassoTouchTM option, vivid image and sharp color display presentation is delivered. In addition, PicassoTouchTM comes with fingerprint-resistant property. Therefore, users can enjoy the high picture quality interactive operation on touch display without being disturbed by mass finger prints.

Liyitec also develop “Light-Touch-Force Palm Rejection Technology” to create friendly user experience. The palm rejection technology is designed to create paper-like writing/drawing experience for users to write on electronic displays. The standard touch display does not allow users to rest their palms on display when writing on touch displays;leaving palm/wrist in the air. The palm rejection technology, on the other hand, allows users to rest their palms on touch display while writing on it, allowing users to have the feeling just like writing on paper! The traditional palm-rejection products require heavy touch force for noise-screening purpose however this design is now improved by Liyitec “Light-Touch-Force Palm Rejection Technology”. With Liyitec’s solution, the touch force requirement is reduced to as low as 50g (min.) when resting the palm (0.8kg) on the display.

With many years’ dedication on unique application market, Liyitec successfully solves the activation and optical problem of a traditional touchscreen. Liyitec has already developed a 10g activation force resistive multi-touch product, which function is almost identical to a capacitive product.

Liyitec’s flat resistive product with plastic substrate has already reached the mass production size of 22”. It is the best technology amount the touch industry.
